Museum talk: Conservation in action

2.00 - 3.00pm    04th Nov 2021    Held over Zoom

Bristol Museums look after over 2.5 million objects across five museum sites.
The Conservation and Documentation Team are responsible for their long-term safety, and for documenting and preparing them for display or loan.  The team focuses on four conservation specialisms: paintings, works on paper, 3D objects and preventive conservation.  Treatments are carried out at our three dedicated conservation studios based at Bristol Museum & Art Gallery.
Speaker: Fran Coles, Conservation and Documentation Manager.
