This illustrated talk by Kerris Harrop is based on “Ladies’ Mile”, a compelling social history by Victoria Hughes, who spent 33 years as a cloakroom attendant at the ladies toilets on Durdham Down near the water tower. Kerris has had the book re-published with the aid of a crowd-funding campaign.
